What do I need?
- Computer - Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac or Linux
- High speed Internet - Broadband Connection
- Skype Video Conferencing Software.
- Headset, serving as speakers and a microphone (recommended for quality of sound)
- Webcam
How much does it cost?
A single one-to-one lesson (60 minutes) costs £30.
What method do you use?
The lessons are normally geared towards building your conversational fluency, but they can be tailored to your individual aims and needs. They are taught through a mix of proprietary and authentic materials, such as online magazine articles, videos and music. During the lesson the material will be shared using a desktop sharing application and an interactive virtual whiteboard.
Can I try it first?
You can book a 30 min Free Assessment Session to talk about your objectives, assess your level of Portuguese and, if you decide to continue with regular lessons, discuss a suitable timetable. You will also be given a 5 - 10 minutes activity sample so you can have a feel for the method and technology used.
After the Free Assessment, how do I book a regular lesson?
You will be sent a link to an online schedule where you can check available times and book your lessons.
When do I pay for the class?
When you book the class on the online schedule you will be promped to pay securely with Paypal. You don't need to have an account - paypal accepts payment by credit card or direct debit. Once payment has been processed you will get a confirmation of your booking by email.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your lesson can be rescheduled providing you give at least 24 hours notice. For cancellations with less than 24 hours or if you don't turn up for your lesson you will be charged full price for the lesson.
